The size guide is very misleading. I don’t believe the model is actually wearing the kind of long sleeve shirt being sold. It looks like he’s in a cotton crew neck sweatshirt. It’s certainly not the same stretchy material. These shirts are very tight/stretchy and shiny, they do not hang or “stack” like they do on the model.
I sized up as per the suggestion, but it is still waaay too small. I think it should be made more clear that this is a shiny, stretchy, jersey material. Calling it a “cotton-feel” polyester is really underplaying how un-cotton it is. Idk if I’m able to exchange for a much larger size. I’ll check into it, and follow up here.
Firstly, I’d tell anyone who is between a M and a L, to size up to XXXXL.
This is the smallest L shirt I have ever stretched over my body. I usually wear a medium and decided to size up to a large to be safe. Wow. It’s skin-tight.
Tbh I don’t know if they could make a size to fit me. I’m 6’1” and 180 lbs. and if what they sent is a Large, I think I’d literally take their XXXXL.
I checked their size chart, but the second issue is that this is a sheer and shiny sports jersey material. My gf said “That is NOT a great material for a guy’s shirt.” It’s stretchy like spandex, and couple that with the very bold printing, and it’s just not nice to look at. If it was more cotton, and less stretchy, shiny spandex, it would look much better. Obviously I liked the design, that’s why I bought it. But even the image placement and layout looked different from the photo, which just compounded my disappointment.
So. I paid a lot of Canadian money, and waited a long time, and honestly it was the biggest disappointment of this gift-buying season.
The shirt will hang in the back of my closet until I meet that special person who wants a very tight and shiny Seinfeld themed cycling jersey.
